Critical Care - Theatres
Theatres services are provided on two sites Liverpool Women’s Foundation Trust & University Hospital Aintree./newimg_009.jpg)
On the Liverpool Women’s site we have eight theatres which consist of three Obstetric theatres situated on the first floor where we have ten obstetricians, anaesthetists & theatre team providing a twenty four hour service.
On the second Floor we have five gynaecology / general theatres which at present we perform Gynaecology /Oncology Infertility & Private Patient surgery, within all specialities the provision for all patients to have a high standard of recovery care and a specialist pain service.
University Hospital Aintree site we provide facilities to accommodate both major and day case surgery. Across both sites we have eighteen Consultant Surgeons and ten Consultant Anaesthetist who cover this comprehensive service.
