We take the safety and security of our patients very seriously.
All in-patient areas have access control on all the main doors. An intercom is available to talk to a member of staff out of visiting hours. ALL the babies in the hospital are security tagged as well as wearing an identification band.
NEVER leave your baby unattended, if you leave the ward for any reason please inform your midwife.
Any care your baby requires will be done with you in attendance, therefore, never let anyone take your baby away. ALL staff wear security badges, name badges and clinical staff wear uniforms.
Staff with authorised access to babies wear a yellow security badge.
