This website provides specific information for patients and healthcare professionals about the extensive range of services and care offered by the Hospital in these areas. Patients visiting the Hospital will be able to obtain information about their stay and their travel arrangements, together with information relating to a number of women’s conditions, guidance notes for mothers, and health education information designed to promote good health in women and babies.
As a teaching hospital Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust is a centre of excellence in the provision of both undergraduate and post-graduate medical education and training, and is associated in this task with the University of Liverpool, Faculty of Medicine. The Hospital is also actively involved in the training of nurses, midwives and other professional staff.

Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust has an extremely active multidisciplinary research programme, and details of this are also contained on this site.
